Reflections on the ‘journey’ in Alaska Presbytery
Reflections on the ‘journey’ in Alaska Presbytery
November 2007. October is over, and I am still discovering what I learned from YOU! Yes, I was sent out to inform and encourage and indeed ‘teach’, but I learned anew of how committed and joyful our congregations, large and small, really are! I learned through your comments and sharing just how faithful God really is. I learned how YOU are doing mission in your own communities. I learned that even when we feel weak and uncertain, shaky or scared, God is there in the midst, using us, each of us, for the sake of his kingdom and glory!

Please know I remain grateful for your invitation to come, for your gracious hospitality, open hearts, helping hands, and for the chance to simply be in your midst! I wish you God’s blessings as you ‘do’ your ministry these last weeks of the year, in stewardship season, during Advent, at Christmas. I wish you God’s grace and peace for your ‘journey’ as a presbytery, as congregations, as God’s children in the places he’s called you to serve!
