Take the Urban Plunge
The Issue There is a growing divide within humanity resulting in declining community and increasing poverty. In homeless shelters, campsites, and singe room occupancy (SRO) cubicles of downtown Spokane, within blocks of River Park Square, loneliness and isolation stalk the poor.
Your Guide Jerry Schwab Ph.D., professional counselor and Urban Missionary, addresses issues of community building and resource development. Providing clothing, shelter, and meals is the goal of many organizations, but offering hospitality, hope, and healing to you and the homeless is Jerry’s calling. Join him for nearly eighteen hours of life as you’ve never known it.
Dr. Jerry Schwab provides advocacy, counseling, and inner-city mission trips called Urban Plunges.
